IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL PATIENTS
Given the current situation with the COVID-19 virus, we have begun taking additional precautions to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. The current advice from NSW Health and the Federal Government is that individuals who are experiencing fever or respiratory symptoms, have travelled overseas or have had contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19, should begin practicing self-isolation or social distancing.
As such, if you fall into one of these categories, please contact the practice on 02 8064 0310 to discuss your circumstances with our team.
Patients are also encouraged to contact their primary healthcare provider (GP) or the Coronavirus Health Information Line on 1800 020 080.
Existing consultation appointments
Where possible, existing appointments will be held via phone consultation. We ask that any patient wishing to having a consultation over the phone contact the practice on 02 8064 0310 to request a phone consultation. If you would prefer to reschedule your appointment for another time please contact the practice and your appointment will be cancelled and rescheduled once we have better clarity around this evolving situation.
Patients experiencing respiratory symptoms or at risk of having contracted COVID-19 will not be able to proceed with face-to-face consultations unless approved by Dr Boyle and must contact the practice to advise of their situation.
Existing surgical bookings
Currently, all existing surgical bookings are scheduled to proceed however we will be complying with any request that assists hospitals in managing patient loads if these begin to change. This may mean surgical procedures may be cancelled at any time in the future. We will endeavour to give as much notice of change as possible, but will be following directions from the relevant hospitals. If your surgery is of a critical nature it will still proceed.
Thank you
We understand that this is a potentially stressful time for many of our patients and appreciate your support and understanding. We will be working to keep our team available to answer any questions you may have and will be updating this page as new information becomes available.
